I had a lovely stay here, especially enjoying the cozy single room and the amazing breakfast that really hit the spot! The beer garden was a great place to unwind, and I loved the rustic charm of the pub. Just a heads up, the pub was closed for dinner the night I arrived, so I had to find food elsewhere, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. 😊

The constant mechanical noise in some rooms could be bothersome, even with earplugs. A dripping toilet cistern in tight bathrooms might be annoying given the limited space. the bar and restaurant's Monday closure could leave you searching for food elsewhere if you don't plan ahead.

The only downside was a low humming noise that was a bit distracting during the night.

Charming countryside pub with a warm atmosphere
I had a delightful stay at this charming pub, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome right from the start. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the evening meal exceeded my expectations with its quality and generous portions. The scenic location in the Somerset countryside really enhanced my experience, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. One area for improvement might be the breakfast options, which could be more varied for an even better start to the day.
